Small But Perfectly Formed Petite Wedding Shoes

Never underestimate the benefit of comfy, good fitting shoes for your wedding. This is something I didn't give too much thought to, silly I know. The thing is, I have ridiculously small, child sized feet. Technically I'm a UK size 2 but the majority of high street shoes start at a 3 so for years I've been stuffing shoes with insoles and making do.

The same applied with my wedding shoes. I found a beautiful pair and I just had to have them, I even accessorized them with a bit of bling (more on this later). In reality I should have thought the whole process through a bit more especially as there are so many places online selling some real petite beauties. Some stores even stock size 13 -3 and if you fancy walking the aisle in a designer pair, many of these start at a size 2.

Bridal Trends From the Catwalk to the Aisle

The decidedly decadent Paris Haute Couture Week kicked off with the Spring/Summer 2010 collection and John Galliano for Christian Dior, Giorgio Armani and Chanel provided some amazing eye candy. With the red carpet season upon us these designs are bound to set some trends in bridal wear.

Giorgio Armani sent his models into the stars with moon shaped embellishments and accessories. Strong, graceful and almost futurist curves followed through from necklines to hemlines in glossy shimmering fabrics.

John Galliano presented a theatrical equestrian themed collection for Christian Dior. However, there was still room from some beautifully opulent dresses featuring indulgent bows, delicate pretty lace and luxurious satin cascading into elaborate folds.

Chanel decided to mix things up a bit and took a detour from the usual black, white and navy to introduce a fresh injection of pastels and flashes of silver. The result was an interesting blend of futurism and romanticism.

With so many gorgeous (expensive) gowns on show, it's good to know that these bits of fashion heaven will filter down and give inspiration to wedding designers everywhere and hopefully with attainable prices!

Let Them Eat Cake, Chocolate Cake

Wedding cakes these days are so much more than just cake, they're edible works of art and the fact that they're delicious is really just a bonus. So finding delicious chocolate creations wasn't too much of a chore, although a nice slice would go down so well right now.

Gone are the days of lumpy, wobbly chocolate cakes, these featured beauties are all made with either chocolate icing or pure indulgent chocolate. Hungry yet?

Show a Little Love

This little bit of amazing love comes from Paperwhite Studios and is called I Love You More Than Blank. Surely nothing says it better than 'I love you more than sweatpant Saturday's'.

I Love You More Than My iPhone

Because iPhone love is special, it's SO much more than a phone it's easy to get carried away. The perfect Valentine's card for your neglected other half.

Kiss and Tell

I enjoy looking at other people's wedding pictures. I'm a little bit nosey but mainly there's nothing more beautiful than seeing two people very much in love, sharing it with the people they love.

I'm constantly inspired by real weddings and I can't wait to see yours. If you would like to see your photos published on This Wedding Belle, just let me know. Photographers and suppliers are also very welcome.

An Edible Wedding Dress

So you know how some wedding dresses look good enough to eat? No?

Well Lukka Sigurdardottir has created a one off dress that is also a wedding cake. Perfect for peckish and budget conscious brides.

Admittedly it doesn't look like the most practical dress but it would definitely make a very memorable wedding.
